Suich is available to riders across the whole canton of Geneva, at any time, depending on partner driver availability: city centre, Cornavin station, the international organisations district, Palexpo, the canton's municipalities and Geneva Airport, for instant or scheduled rides. No. Suich is a ride-hailing (VTC) app: you request an independent professional driver from your phone, the price is set before departure and you pay by card, TWINT or cash. In Geneva, taxis and VTC vehicles are two distinct categories governed by the cantonal law on taxis and transport vehicles with driver (LTVTC).
In Geneva, only taxis may be hailed in the street, pick up passengers at taxi ranks and use certain reserved lanes, with fares regulated by the canton. A VTC is requested through an app such as Suich, on demand or in advance, with a price shown before the ride. In both cases the driver is a professional licensed by the canton.
