Rider guide

How it works:
book a ride with Suich in four steps

Booking a ride with Suich takes a few seconds: you enter your trip within the canton of Geneva, the price appears, you choose your vehicle, then you order right away or schedule for later. The partner driver arrives, you follow their progress in the app, and card payment happens automatically at the end of the ride, with a receipt.

01

Before your first ride: install the app and create an account

Suich is available on the App Store (iPhone) and on Google Play (Android). After installing, you create your account with your phone number and email address, then save a credit or debit card if you want to pay in the app. You can also pay the ride with TWINT or in cash to the driver; the optional tip can be given in cash or in the app.

The app is offered in French, English and German. Your personal data is processed in accordance with Swiss data protection law (see our privacy policy (in French)).

02

Step 1: enter your trip

Open the app and enter your pickup point (your current location or an address) then your destination, anywhere in the canton of Geneva: city centre, Cornavin station, Geneva Airport, Palexpo, the international organisations district or an outer municipality. The estimated fare is displayed immediately for each vehicle category, VAT included.

This price is calculated from the estimated duration and distance of the trip, based on a grid defined in consultation with the Geneva driver associations Alliance VTC Genève and VTC-Genève. In periods of high demand a surcharge may apply; it is always announced before you confirm.

03

Step 2: choose your vehicle

  • SUICH: the standard category for everyday trips.
  • Confort: more space for a more comfortable ride.
  • Berline: a premium vehicle for a high-end trip.
  • Van: to travel as a group or with lots of luggage.

The availability of each category depends on the partner drivers online when you order. All details on the page vehicles with driver.

04

Step 3: order now or schedule

Instant ride: your request is sent to the nearest partner driver, who receives the pickup point, destination, distance and price. As soon as they accept, you see their first name, the make, model and plate of the vehicle, and their estimated arrival time. You can message or call them through the app.

Scheduled ride: choose the pickup time you want, for example for a flight at Geneva Airport, a train at Cornavin or a business meeting. The ride is booked and a partner driver arrives at the agreed time.

You can cancel before pickup. Cancellation is free within five minutes of the driver's acceptance; after that, cancellation fees apply (amount shown in the app).

05

Step 4: enjoy the ride, pay the way you prefer

During the ride, the app shows the route and the estimated arrival time. On arrival, you pay with the card saved in the app (charged automatically), with TWINT or in cash, and you receive a payment confirmation by email and in the app. If something unexpected extended the trip (traffic jam, diversion), the price may be adjusted at the end of the ride, within the announced rules.

After the ride, you rate your driver with a three-star system and an optional comment; the driver can rate you too. If you give one star, you can ask never to be matched with that driver again.

06

After the ride: history, receipts, lost and found

All your rides are kept in the app's history, with trip details and the receipt, handy for expense reports. If you left something in the vehicle, open the ride in your history and use the "Leave a note" section to contact your driver.

For any question, our team can be reached at contact@suich.ch or through the contact page. The full rules are set out in the terms and conditions for riders (in French).

Frequently asked questions about booking

Do I need an account to order a ride?

Yes. The account identifies you to the driver, stores your payment card and keeps your receipts. Creating it takes less than a minute in the app.

How can I pay for my ride?

Three payment methods are accepted: the credit or debit card saved in the app, TWINT and cash. The optional tip can be given in cash or in the app and goes entirely to the driver.

What happens if no driver is available?

The app tells you and you can send the request again. Availability depends on the partner drivers online; scheduling a ride in advance helps you plan for a sensitive time.

How do I contact my driver?

As soon as the driver has accepted the ride, you can message or call them directly from the app, for example to specify where you are.

Can I change a scheduled ride?

You can cancel the scheduled ride before pickup, under the cancellation conditions shown in the app, then book a new one with the right time.
