Safety and trust:
riding with a driver with Suich in Geneva

With Suich, every ride is carried out by an independent professional driver licensed by the canton of Geneva, whose documents have been verified. The price is known before departure, payment is made by card in the app, with TWINT or in cash, the vehicle and driver are identified before pickup, and your data is protected under Swiss law.

01

Drivers licensed by the canton and verified at sign-up

In Geneva, working as a VTC driver is regulated by the cantonal LTVTC law. To obtain the professional card, a driver must among other things hold the B121 professional transport licence, have three years of driving licence, have a record compatible with the profession (good repute) and pass the professional driver diploma examinations.

Suich requires every partner driver to upload in the app, at sign-up, their B121 licence, their professional VTC card, their vehicle insurance authorising the commercial transport of passengers and, to serve Geneva Airport, their airport access badge. The account is only activated after these documents are checked, and they must be kept up to date. Details are in the terms and conditions for drivers (in French).

02

Driver and vehicle identified before pickup

As soon as a driver accepts your ride, the app shows their first and last name, the make, model and registration plate of the vehicle, and their estimated arrival time. You know exactly who is coming to pick you up and in which vehicle, and you can follow their approach on the map. The driver, for their part, knows your name and pickup location.

A VTC cannot be hailed in the street: every Suich ride goes through the app, which guarantees that each trip is traced, linked to an identified driver and to an agreed price.

03

Card payment in the app, TWINT or cash

The price of the ride is set before departure. On arrival you pay with the credit or debit card saved in the app (charged automatically), with TWINT or in cash. Payments are processed by Stripe, a specialised payment provider; Suich does not store your full card numbers. You immediately receive a payment confirmation by email and in the app, and every receipt remains available in your history.

The price remains the one shown before departure, whatever the payment method. The optional tip can be given in the app or in cash and goes entirely to the driver.

04

Two-way ratings and complaint handling

After each ride, riders and drivers can rate each other with a three-star system and leave a comment. The criteria are transparent and everyone can see the ratings that concern them. A rider who gives one star can ask never to be matched with that driver again, and vice versa.

In the event of a complaint, Suich informs the driver concerned, gives them access to the content of the complaint and lets them respond. Repeated complaints from several riders may lead to a driver being excluded from the platform. Ratings are not an automatic disciplinary tool and do not influence how rides are assigned: what counts is how complaints are handled.

05

Lost and found

Left something in the vehicle? Open your ride history in the app, select the ride concerned and write a message in the "Leave a note" section: your driver is notified directly. Since every ride is linked to an identified driver, you never have to guess which vehicle you travelled in.

06

The data collected is used to provide the service: identification, matching with the driver, payment, history and support. It is not sold.
