What Suich does, and what it does not do

Suich is a matching platform: the app sends a rider's ride request to the nearest partner driver, who is free to accept it. The transport contract is concluded directly between the driver and the rider; Suich handles ordering, tracking, secure payment and support. Suich does not operate a transport company, does not employ drivers and is not a taxi company.

This model is the one provided for by the Geneva law on taxis and transport vehicles with driver (LTVTC) for VTC: prior order through an app, price agreed before the ride, drivers holding a cantonal professional card. We explain it in detail on the page taxi vs ride app in Geneva.

Our commitments

• A price known before departure, VAT included, defined in consultation with the Geneva driver associations Alliance VTC Genève and VTC-Genève. Any surcharge in periods of high demand is announced before you order.
• Licensed professional drivers: B121 licence, professional VTC card, suitable insurance, airport badge where applicable, verified before activation.
• Clear rules for drivers: freedom to accept or decline a ride, direct payment for each trip, commission stated in the terms and conditions, tips free of commission, complaints handled transparently.
• Data protected in Switzerland, in accordance with the nFADP, with no resale and no advertising banner.
• No unverifiable promises: we publish no ratings, reviews or figures that we cannot document.

A Geneva company, a local service

Suich was founded in Geneva to meet a local need: booking a ride with a driver in the canton, with a company established locally, reachable, and subject to Swiss law. The app is available in French, English and German, for Geneva residents as well as travellers and staff of international organisations.

The rider service currently covers the whole canton of Geneva, including Geneva Airport and Cornavin station. Expansion to other Swiss cities is planned; we will only announce a city once the service is actually available there.
